Yuen Feng Shu information sought

Wednesday 24 August 2005 at 10:40 pm The TCUGB got this request for help, if you have any information send it to me and I'll pass it along. (John Johnston)

I am after some help! I got this link of Master Wang Haijun website.

I am currently learning and teaching a Martial Art style called "Yuen Feng Shu" (Combined Soft Arts) in UK.

I am trying to trace the history of this style, sadly my Instructor died in april 2001. His Instructor possibly a Rob Gilston from Cumbria went to China with some Chinese families through "The Chinese Cultural Society" do you have any info on this as well?

A Chinese family who were involved was mentioned to me one person called Richard Ling plus other Ling family members who were living and still may live in Newcastle (this would of been 60's or 70's) and up and down the Chinese Communities (Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, possibly even Manchester. Other Chinese families were also involved Lee's, Chan, etc.

Any help would be great as this style and my Instructor means a lot to me, and I told him I would find the other people involved. Would you please ask around the Chinese community. There were also some Martial Art demonstration pictures on a Chinatown website I found.

I was also told these Ling's and Lee's families did Martial Art and Weapons demonstrations up and down the country.
